1. Which photos can I turn into paintings?
At ArtistViewpoint, we hand paint human portraits, pets, and landscape. As long as the photo
which you submit is clear and visible, our artist can paint them. Please ensure to choose
a favorite photo that would make the painting look best.
Note that at least one photo is required. The required photo is the primary photo which
our artist will use to paint your painting. You can also provide two additional photos for references
if you think the reference photos will help our artists understand the figures more clearly. The two reference
photos are optional.
Often time, the background details in the photo which you submit will be removed in the painting and be replaced with
a flat color to make the painting more beautiful and also avoid cluttering the final painting. If you prefer to
have the background also painted, please ensure to describe when you submit your photo(s). If there is a particular
flat color which you favor, please also describe in the special instruction pane when you submit your photo(s).
It's limited that the photo's file size which you submit cannot exceed 20MB. The photo must have the following file extensions:
JPG, JPEG, TIFF, PNG, GIF or BMP. For Linux users, if the photo file which you submit does not have a file
extension, simply rename the image file to include a file extension that correspond to the correct MIME file type then re-submit
your photo again.
2. How do you guarantee your work?
Yes! At ArtistViewpoint, you are completely covered by our full money-back guarantee program. Our guarantee
program is base on a 35 days starting from the date of shipment. Normally, shipment will take about 5 days to reach
our customer. Hence, our customers will have approximately 30 days to decide if he/she wants to keep the painting or not.
Do note that you'll have the opportunities to review the painting via email to request additional changes prior to us shipping the
final painting to your door. Once you receive the painting, you may still return the painting for a
full refund if you're not satisfied.
To have your money refund back to your account, please ship the painting back in its original form to the following address within
the allowed time period and we will refund your money. There is no need to explain your reason for refund. We are
confident in our art work and we guarantee your satisfaction.

3. How much does a custom portrait cost?
At ArtistViewpoint, our goal has always been to make custom-made oil paintings affordable to all families.
All our work is 100% hand-painted by top artists to delivery highest quality in your painting. Please
refer to our
Custom Paintings page and click on
the "View Pricing" button to expand price chart.
4. How do I submit my photo for custom painting?
Submit your photo for custom painting is easy. Go to the
Custom Paintings page and click "Order Now" to start submitting your photo(s).
There are two steps on the Custom Painting order page that require your attention:
1) Choose painting specifications such as: Painting size, landscape or human/animal portrait, the number of
figures in the human/animal category. You can also include an optional frame for your painting.
2) Upload your photo(s) on our website. It is required that at least one photo must be uploaded before we can process your
order. Our artist will look the first required photo to oil paint your custom painting. You may upload
two additional photos for references if you think it will help our artist understand the portrait figure more clearly.
These two reference photos are optional and not required.
Please describe clearly how you prefer your photo to be painted (i.e. flat background color, items/objects in the photo which
you want it removed from the painting, how you want to crop the portrait... and etc. If no special instruction
is provided, then our artist will paint exactly as shown on the photo but will replace the background with a flat color
of artist's choice.
Make sure your photo file size is 20MB or smaller. It must also have one of the following file extensions:
JPG, JPEG, TIFF, PNG, GIF or BMP. For Linux users, if the photo file which you submit does not have a file
extension, simply rename the image file to include a file extension that correspond to the correct MIME file type then re-submit

5. Can I combine multiple photos into one painting?
Yes! We can combine multiple photographs into one painting.
Often times, gathering all family members from different locations to take a photo can be a challenge. In this case,
if you have multiple photos with all members, our artist can paint all members into one single painting.
To place a Custom Portrait order with three photos or less, please choose the total number of figures to be in the
painting and submit the photos on our website.
To place a Custom Portrait order with more than three photos, please choose the total number of figures to be in
the painting and submit three photos on our website then proceed to checkout. Once checkout is complete, you will be
given an invoice number. Please email all remaining photos to support@ArtistViewpoint.com and reference the invoice number
in the email subject. Our artist will gather all three photos which you submit via our website and also via email then
paint them all in one painting.
For example: If your family has 8 members and those members are in 4 different photographs. On our website,
please choose 8 figures to be painted and submit 3 photographs. One remaining photograph will have to be sent to our
email: support@ArtistViewpoint.com and reference the invoice number on the email subject.

6. What format should my photo be?
Your photo must be an image file having one of the following file extensions: JPG, JPEG, TIFF, PNG, GIF or BMP.

7. Do I get to preview my artwork before receiving it?
Yes. Once your painting is complete, we will send an email with picture of the painting for you to review. Most of
our customers are very happy with their first preview. If you need any adjustment to the painting, we will make
the change request then send you the completed painting.
Please be sure to provide a valid email address as we will be using the email which PayPal sends us to contact our customers.
8. How long does it take to receive my painting?
From the time of ordering, it will take our artist approximately 10 days to complete your painting. Once the painting is complete,
you will get to review the painting via picture email. Please do expect 5-7 days for shipping and delivery. Note that the
above date does not include the time it takes to make request changes by the customer, if any.
9. How do I request special instructions for the artist whom will work on my painting?
When order a Custom Portrait painting, there will be a Special Instruction box for the customer to explain
how their painting are to be done. Please make use of this box to describe clearly your preferences.
10. What methods of payment do you accept?
We use PayPal as our payment processor to provide top security. With PayPal, our customer can pay with any credit card
type available. PayPal does not require our customer have an account with PayPal in-order to pay!
11. Will my payment be secured?
Shopping with ArtistViewpoint is 100% safe! We use PayPal as it has world-class security and anti fraud systems.
None of your credit-card details are given to us. PayPal takes care of the entire payment process.
12. Are your paintings 100% hand painted?
Yes! Our paintings are 100% hand painted from a blank canvas by talented professional artists.
13. How will my artwork be packed for shipment?
How your painting will be packed depends on whether you also purchase frame or not. If you do not purchase
frame with your painting, it will be shipped in a protective cardboard tube. If you do purchase frame
with your painting, then it will be stretched and framed with well-protection for shipment.
Please note, since
our shipping cost are free, Artist Viewpoint holds the right to package the painting in protective tube and dis-assemble
the frame to keep the cost low, if the painting size is too large. Customers receiving paintings in protective
cardboard tube may bring the package to a local framing shops, Hobby Lobby or Michaels Arts & Crafts retailer to have them
assembled for low fee.
14. How much does shipping cost?

15. How do I order an Art Reproduction that isn't on your website?
If there is a picture not shown on our website which you would like us to reproduce, please contact us at:
support@ArtistViewpoint.com and we will investigate whether it is legal to reproduce. At the same time,
if you can obtain authorization agreement from the author, we may reproduce it for you. We will not
reproduce unauthorized artwork!
